Presently the general thrust bearing in use is made of copper-based material with non-tilting structure and its bearing capacity is relatively low. With the development of the oil production process of electric submersible pump, electric submersible pumps with high lifting head that can be used in complicated well conditions are in great need. Based on our years of experience in the design and manufacturing of electric submersible pumps, our company has been designing and manufacturing high-load thrust bearing especially for new types of electric submersible pump. This bearing adopts tilting-pad structure, and at the same time, important structures and parameters concerning directional lubrication, support form, eccentricity of bearing bush, back-up material for bearing bush, and retaining appliance have been meticulously designed and finalized through repeated performance optimization design. This will finally reduce the power loss, the oil flow and the temperature of bearing bushing whilst solving axial vibration and other issues commonly seen in the industry.
Polymer bearing bushing has, for the first time, been applied to high-load thrust bearing especially for electric submersible pump by our company. Such polymer adopts specially-made polymer for bearing and has been made through customized fitting surface technology. The product is extremely fit for oil lubricating environment and have extra high load capacity and resistance to high temperatures, and can achieve microfilm operation, high fatigue strength, and high insulating property. At the same time, it can continuously bear high load and have other advantages.
